DISPATCH ESTIMATES & DELIVERY TIMES

We state an estimated dispatch time on each product page. E.g. ITEM MADE TO ORDER | DISPATCH ESTIMATE 6 WEEKS. This is the estimated time it will take for us to manufacture and send the product to our delivery partner for them to then send on to you. Customers should however be aware that production times can vary somewhat from the original estimate if for example there are events that occur that are out of our control. Since all of our furniture is made bespoke to order for specific customers late delivery due to reasons out of our control is not an acceptable reason for cancellation.

Below is more detailed information on the delivery process and how long after dispatch, you should expect delivery.

INDOOR & OUTDOOR FURNITURE 2 MAN DELIVERY SERVICE - £59  (FREE FOR ORDERS OF £1000 AND OVER)
Please check the item descriptions for estimated dispatch times as many of our furniture items are made to order and can take several weeks to dispatch.  Check the individual product details for the dispatch estimates. 
We will send you a dispatch email confirming when your order is ready to be delivered.
Once your item is ready for delivery our courier will contact you by telephone to arrange a suitable day for delivery.  

Our 2 Man delivery service includes:
    *1 hour pre-delivery contact by the team en route to delivery/collection.

    *Unpacking and Inspection of delivery (Only on customer's request).
    *Removal of packaging from premises (Only on customer's request).
    *Positioning of goods in customer’s room of choice or garden, if easily accessible.
    *Pick up from customer premises.
    *Uniformed drivers.


Our Collect & Recycle Service

To save you the hassle of having to dispose of your sofa/armchair yourself, we can come and take it away for recycling when we deliver. We’ll also take away all the packaging from your new product.
For £39 When we deliver to your home, we’ll take your old product away for recycling, plus any packaging.
This includes:
• Sofas,
• Armchairs
The service is a like for like service so if you purchase an armchair we'll take away an armchair, if you purchase a sofa we'll take away a sofa.
Just tick the box on the product page to add this service to your basket when you purchase your sofa/armchair. If you purchase multiple items and you want multiple items collected you'll need to add the corresponding number of collections to your order.

1 collection = 1 item only.

We offer a next day delivery option to UK Mainland addresses on orders placed before 1pm.
Not available for outdoor furniture items.
This is a next working day service, deliveries are not made on Saturdays or Sundays.

Delivery to Western Europe is up to 5-7 working days from the date of placing the order.

Duty and customs
If your order is to be delivered outside the European Union, it may attract import duty and local sales taxes which must be paid upon receipt of the shipment. These rules vary by country and your local government determines duty and customs charges.

A NOTE REGARDING MULTI ITEM ORDERS

As our exceptionally competitive prices are dependent upon minimal storage costs we cannot hold ordered items in stock for you for long periods of time. We will always dispatch items as they come in stock. 

If you have ordered two different items and one comes in stock we will dispatch that one, in-stock item and not wait for the other item to arrive to send them together.
Likewise, we cannot hold items for long periods if you are out of the country or not ready to accept delivery for some reason. A few days is going to be fine but we are unable to store items for any longer.

This is without exception. 

RETURNS POLICY - ALL PRODUCTS

NO QUIBBLE RETURNS
You can return your non-bespoke order for any reason, at any time within 30 days of receipt, for a refund or exchange. The 30 days refers to the whole time from the date of receipt to the date the item is received back into our returns address. Items that were made to order are not cancel-able or returnable for non-fault reasons. 

With regard to items that were made to order we will not accept returns due to reasons that the customer could easily have foreseen would be issues at the time of order for example where the dimensions are a problem since we publish those or where the leather quality is an issue since swatches of these are available from us for free upon request in advance of any order. Also we make no warranty about the specific shade of the material so it is possible that two items ordered in the same colour will not match exactly.

It is the customers responsibility to check that access is possible in advance of delivery. If it is impossible for us to deliver to the room of choice through no fault of our own then we reserve the right to charge for all costs we incur.

Unless you are returning the item because it is damaged then the following conditions apply:
Linen, Soft Furnishings, Home Accessories and Garden Heating andAccessories: All we ask is that it is in the original, undamaged packaging and in a saleable condition. You will need to pay for the cost of the returns postage.
Indoor Furniture: All we ask is that it is in a saleable condition. You will need to pay for the cost of the returns postage but we will refund you the cost of the original delivery. We reserve the right to charge back the cost of any damage to the product that we find when received.
Outoor Furniture: All we ask is that it is in a saleable condition. You will need to pay for the cost of the returns postage but we will refund you the cost of the original delivery.  We reserve the right to charge back the cost of any damage to the product that we find when received.

HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE

INDOOR & OUTDOOR FURNITURE DELIVERED BY OUR 2 MAN SERVICE
    * Contact us by phone or email asap to tell us you wish to return your item.

    * If we agree the return we'll confirm with you the returns address and you will have the option of returning the product to that address at your own cost. We must receive the item within 30 days in total. Should you be unable to return the product yourself then we may be able to arrange a collection at your cost. If you reject a delivery without our authorization this will be held for your collection in our warehouse and all charges for transport and storage will need to be paid prior to your collection. Any items rejected and not collected from our warehouse within 30 days will be charged at 100% of the original cost and the title will revert to us. 
    * You will receive your refund credit within 14 days of us receiving the goods back at our returns address.
        * Please note that refunds for items bought as presents can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can't stop the payer knowing.
    * If you arrange for a collection but the collection fails because of a factor outside of our control such as you aren't there or the goods are not retrievable from your premises we reserve the right to charge our expenses incurred back to you plus a 25% handling charge.

ALL NON-FURNITURE ITEMS DELIVERED BY POST AND DPD COURIERS
    * Fill out the Returns form enclosed with your order noting whether you would like an exchange or a refund.  WE are unable to process returns with no completed returns form and we will be unable to refund you.
    * There is a peel off returns address label on your delivery note. Please stick this label on your parcel and put it in a post box or take it to a Post Office.
    * You will need to pay the postage for goods returned to Wallace Sacks.
    * You will receive your refund credit, or exchange order (when in stock) within 14 days after you post the goods back to us..
    * Please note that refunds bought as presents can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can't stop the payer knowing.
    * Goods not returned in original packaging (where required) will be subject to restocking charge of up to 25% of original order cost

Legal statement on returns

Returning any item within 30 days will be taken as notice of cancellation of your order (or relevant part of your order). Goods are provided to you on approval and legal title to the goods will not pass to you until the three month post-delivery period has expired. On receipt of the returned goods, Wallace Sacks will give you a full refund of the amount paid for the goods or an exchange credit as required. You must, however, return the goods to Wallace Sacks on cancellation in order to receive a full refund or exchange. When returning goods on which you have received a discount/offer, that discount/offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold and the refund will be adjusted accordingly. Goods must be returned in a saleable condition.  We may withold up to 25% of the purchase price of returned goods if the product or packaging is in such a condition that the item is not fully resaleable.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

PRODUCT SPECIFIC WARRANTIES

GARDEN FURNITURE 5 YEAR WARRANTY
5 Year structural warranty on outdoor products

We offer a 5 year structural warranty on all our outdoor products. This includes the frame cracking or splitting and any breakages resulting from a manufacturing defect. It excludes normal wear and tear and superficial issues as might be expected in products which are stored and used outside.

INDOOR FURNITURE LIFETIME WARRANTY
In keeping with the iconic nature of the product and to reflect the supreme confidence that we have in it we are offering an unbeatable warranty -


If your Wallace Sacks furnishing item ever fails or breaks during its lifetime we will repair it or if this is not economically viable replace it free of charge!

The only exclusions are –
If the item has been damaged through either an insurable or accidental or malicious event so that includes fire, flood, children and dogs.
If it has been used in a way that it wasn’t designed to such as outdoors or in a high traffic location such as a waiting room or an elephant sat on it.
If the “failure” is just normal wear and tear, so if for example the colour has faded because the leather has been exposed to a sunny location over a 15 year period that wouldn’t be covered.
The warranty is not transferable so it only relates to the original owner.

To claim just call us anytime and if we agree that it may be covered then you will need to deliver the item to our workshop in London for the work to be carried out free of charge and collect it when it is completed. Even if it isn’t covered we will still undertake repairs at a highly subsidised cost so just call.

Wallace Sacks has been trading since 1980 so we don’t make this promise lightly as we fully intend to be around for the next 35 years to honour our commitment to you.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
