Expensive but pretty good
I can't believe I'm about to review some bed linen?
The "sheen" on these 800 count sheets seems to go after a wash or two but they're quality sheets and still stay soft. I had a problem initially where the fitted sheet seemed to get quite rough to the touch and irritated my skin but it was ok after a wash. Still feel ok after a year or so.
I also have some 400 count sheets that I got about 3 years ago and they're still going strong but the 800 count ones are much thicker/softer (as you'd expect).
I was a bit peed off after ordering as two weeks later I got a 50% off email...but that's life I guess.

COMMENT ON QUALITY OF SHEETS PURCHASED
I have been disappointed with the quality of the fitted sheets purchased. They have
become rough in the area most laid upon which was not what I expected to happen they have lost that soft feel.. All other items, pillowcases and duvet cover have been fine .
