How to use this website

We’ve designed the Wallace Sacks Website with the aim to make it easy for you to find what you're looking for. How you use it is up to you...

 

You can:

 

Underneath our logo you will see a list of departments from ‘Bedding’ to ‘Offers’

Click on one of these and you will be taken to that department where you will see thumbnails (small pictures) of products available to buy in the centre of the page and if available a list of sub-departments in the left hand column with numbers indicating the amount of products in each sub department.

For example Bedding has sub departments ranging from 'Egyptian Cotton Bedding' to 'Pillows & Duvets'.

Clicking on one of these narrows the product selection further.

 

- You can view the products in a category in either a thumbnail (small picture) grid form or in a list. Thumbnail grid is the default view.

- You can change this by clicking on ‘View as: Grid - List’

- You can also determine how many products will show on each page by selecting the drop down list next to ‘Show’ and picking 12, 24, 48 or ALL.
- You can sort the view of the products by selecting the drop down list next to ‘Sort by’ and picking Best Value (Wallace Sacks default view), Name (alphabetical) or Price. Clicking the arrow will change the view from ascending to descending order.

This is particularly helpful if you already know what colour you want to buy and don’t want to have to look through a list of products of different colours.

 

Follow the steps above and you will see a list of colours in the left hand column with a number representing the numbers of products in this colour.

For example: If you’re in the 'Egyptian Cotton Bedding' department and you know you are only interested in white bedding, simply click on white and you only see Egyptian cotton bedding products available in white.

 

Pick a product from the list by clicking on MORE INFO/BUY

 

Searching
Finding the product you're after is easy: just type a word into the search box such as 'duvet', and every product with ‘duvet’ in the name or description will appear on the search results page.

 

Tip: Try to be as specific as possible to narrow down your results. Typing the word 'Egyptian' will show you lots of results, but if you're actually after a 200 count Egyptian cotton duvet, typing '200 count Egyptian’ gives much more relevant results.

To help you further, if you are typing in a common search phrase then you will see a list of suggested searches with a number representing the number of matching products. Just click the one that fits your requirements the best.

 

Pick a product from the list by clicking on MORE INFO/BUY

 

Once you found a product you want and clicked MORE INFO/BUY you will reach the product page where you will see a larger picture and relevant details.

 

If your product is available in only one size and colour then you simply type in the box ‘QTY’ how many you want (default is 1) then click ADD TO BASKET

 

If your product comes in a number of sizes or colours then type the quantity you want in the box next to your selected size and colour. Enter quantities for all sizes and colours you want before clicking ADD TO BASKET.

 

When you add a product to your basket you are automatically taken to the basket.

If you haven’t finished shopping yet then click ‘continue shopping’ and you will go back to the last page you were on.

 

Once you've got everything that you want in your basket, click on 'Your Basket' to continue. Check that you have everything you want, enter an offer code if you have one and click apply, then click on proceed to checkout.

 

Is basically the till in a real shop. Here you pay for your shopping.

You have the option to shop as a guest or register and create an account. Creating an account makes it easier for you if you shop with us again.

You will be asked for your address and credit/debit card details. This whole process is secure and all credit card details are encrypted.
