DELIVERY TERMS

UK Delivery

Standard UK Mainland delivery is charged at £4.95
With the following exceptions:

FREE delivery on UK Mainland orders over £60
Scottish Islands/Highlands: £12
Postcodes starting IV40 & IV54: £12
Isle Of Man: £12
Northern Ireland: £14
Channel Islands & Scilly Isles: £16

Our standard delivery time to mainland UK is 7-10 working days from placing the order. However, during our Seasonal Sales when demand is very high this may extend to 14 working days.
EXCEPTION: Made To Order Mirrors (check product description) - 21 working days.
Delivery to Western Europe is up to 14 working days from the date of placing the order.

Western Europe: The postage is charged at £20 per delivery address for orders of bedlinen and smaller items.
Bulky items will be charged at ahigher rate - we will contact you to confirm the extra delivery cost.
Please allow 7 working days from the date of despatch for your order to arrive. International delivery Orders will be sent via recorded international post. Local import duties may be payable on receipt.

Please note: Someone must be at the delivery address when the item arrives in order to sign for it or the package will be returned to the depot.

Duty and customs

If your order is to be delivered outside the European Union, it may attract import duty and local sales taxes which must be paid upon receipt of the shipment. These rules vary by country and your local government determines duty and customs charges.

GUARANTEE AND RETURNS POLICY

You can return your order for any reason, at any time within 28 days of receipt, for a full refund or exchange. 

How to return or exchange

• There is no need to telephone us when sending a return
• Fill out the Returns form enclosed with your order noting whether you would like an exchange or a refund.

• Please take your parcel(s) to your nearest post office. We recommend that you send returns by recorded post. Always retain proof of postage. Goods are returned to Wallace Sacks at your own expense.
• You will receive your refund credit, or exchange order (when in stock) within 2 to 3 weeks after you post the goods back to us.
• Please note that refunds bought as presents can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can't stop the payer knowing.

Legal statement on returns

Returning any item within 28 days will be taken as notice of cancellation of your order (or relevant part of your order). Goods are provided to you on approval and legal title to the goods will not pass to you until the three month post-delivery period has expired. On receipt of the returned goods, Wallace Sacks will give you a full refund of the amount paid for the goods (but not the postage) or an exchange credit as required. You must, however, return the goods to Wallace Sacks on cancellation in order to receive a full refund or exchange. When returning goods on which you have received a discount/offer, that discount/offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold and the refund will be adjusted accordingly.

All members of The Wallace Sacks Style Club who joined between 14.04.08. and 06.05.09 are automatically entered into a monthly prize draw with the chance to win a £100 voucher to send at WallaceSacks.com

• Entry in the monthly prize draw continues until a member unsubscribes from the style club.  This can be done either by email to customer services or clicking the unsubscribe link on any marketing email from Wallace Sacks.
• The prize is one £100 voucher, in the form of a voucher code, that can only be redeemed by placing an order via the internet on wallacesacks.com.
• To use the voucher code, you must enter it in your basket and click on the word SUBMIT. £100 will then be automatically subtracted from your order total.
• Only one discount code may be used per order.
• The goods purchased with this voucher are non-returnable. This does not effect your statutory rights.
• The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given if the total amount of the voucher is not used in one transaction. 

DISCOUNT CODES

You may occasionally receive discount codes from us by e-mail or through affiliate sites or printed media.

• Each code is personal to the User receiving it, is not transferable, has no monetary value and under no circumstances can it be converted into currency. Each code has an expiry date which cannot be modified.
• Under no circumstances can the value of a discount code be deducted from an order if that code is defective or out of date: no replacement codes will be issued. Discount codes can not be applied retrospectively.
• To use a discount code, you must enter it in your basket and click on the word SUBMIT. The discount will then show in your basket against each item that it is applicable to.
• Only one discount code may be used per order.
• Any refund of an item bought with a discount code will be reduced by the value of discount attached to it.
• We can not be held responsible for inaccurate or out of date codes displayed on affiliate sites

WEEE REGULATIONS

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law.

The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK

• Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
• Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

Wallace Sacks is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

For example, if a customer bought a new table lamp from us we would accept their old table lamp and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely.

Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

Acceptance of an order

Our acceptance of an order takes place immediately after checkout at which point the purchase contract will be made and you will be charged. After you have placed your order we will send you an order acknowledgement by email. We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may result from the product ordered being unavailable from stock, our inability to obtain authorisation of payment or the identification of an error within the product information including price or promotion. If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. The laws of England shall govern the contract between us and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England.

Your use of the products

All our merchandise is for domestic use only. If you intend to use them for business, then you must check that they are suitable. You may also invalidate any warranty if the merchandise is used for business purposes.
Using the product for domestic purposes: we will be responsible for any loss that you suffer as a result of a merchandise failure, provided the reason for its failure was reasonably foreseeable by both of us when the contract was completed.
Using the product for business purposes: we will not be responsible for any economic loss including, but not limited to, loss of profit, revenue, contracts, savings, and loss of data, goodwill or reputation.
Our maximum liability will be limited to the replacement value of the merchandise. Whether merchandise has been used for domestic or business purposes, Wallace Sacks does not, by law, limit or exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of duty, gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

Payment

Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Visa-Electron, JCB Cards, Cirrus or Maestro. We will take all reasonable precautions, in so far as in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you. Please note that prices are subject to change without notice.

Accuracy of information

We attempt to be as accurate as possible when describing our products, however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the product descriptions, colours or other content available on the website is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
