| WOOL
& ACRYLIC RUG CARE |
 |
| With proper regular care, you can
add years of life to your rugs and carpet and help to retain its
original appearance.
For normal maintenance, we advise the
following:
- The most important thing you can do is to vacuum thoroughly and
frequently, particularly in high traffic areas.
- We also suggest that you rotate your rug on a regular basis
particularly if the rug is exposed to direct sunlight which can
have a bleaching effect on the yarn.
- With tufted rugs it is normal to experience shedding for the
1st few weeks but with regular vacuuming this will diminish.
For spills and stains, we advise the
following:
- Blot up excess spills with a clean white cloth or paper
towel.
- Never rub as this can spread the stain.
- Once clean, pat excess moisture with paper towels and allow to
dry.
- On stubborn stains repeat the process until the stain is
completely removed
- Should stains or spills prove hard to removed, we recommend to
use a professional cleaning company.
