WOOL & ACRYLIC RUG CARE
With proper regular care, you can add years of life to your rugs and carpet and help to retain its original appearance.

For normal maintenance, we advise the following:

  • The most important thing you can do is to vacuum thoroughly and frequently, particularly in high traffic areas.
  • We also suggest that you rotate your rug on a regular basis particularly if the rug is exposed to direct sunlight which can have a bleaching effect on the yarn.
  • With tufted rugs it is normal to experience shedding for the 1st few weeks but with regular vacuuming this will diminish.

For spills and stains, we advise the following:

  • Blot up excess spills with a clean white cloth or paper towel.
  • Never rub as this can spread the stain.
  • Once clean, pat excess moisture with paper towels and allow to dry.
  • On stubborn stains repeat the process until the stain is completely removed
  • Should stains or spills prove hard to removed, we recommend to use a professional cleaning company.
